In the year of 2008, most factory in China mainly focus on home and commercial lighting developing and manufacturing, such as LED tubes, LED bulbs, LED spot lights, and LED down light. TEKLED notice there are not so many factory focus on industrial lighting retrofit LED lights. 
 
In the past years, high powered MH, HPS bulbs and CFL lamps are widely used in industrial lighting in so many applications, such as warehouse, supermarket, workshops, parking lots, gym, oil station and gardens...The industrial electricity price much higher than home electricity price, industrial electricity price was 2-3 times than home electricity price. TEKLED special design hope have a high powered LED light bulb could easy to replacement MH or HPS to fill a gap at the high powered industrial lighting bulbs in the market by LED lamps. 
 
Why is it called “LED corn light”?
As the name implies, LED corn light looks like a corn. From the LED corn lamp surface, you can see a lot of yellow color SMD LEDs sticked surround round shape heat sink, it looks like a corn kernels.

LED retrofit Lamp--A more efficient light

Today, I got a new inquiry about 200W LED corn lights. They used 400Watt mercury vapour lamp in high bay lighting fixture before. Now, he want to use 200W LED corn lights to replacement existing metal halide lamps. He tried 200Watt LED corn lamp sample from other manufacturer, and satisfied with the lighting level. Yes, you may know it is a bout quality and price. "I bought a 250W LED corn light with 32000lm output also from China, they were very efficient, I don't want to repalce entire fitting." Customer said In view of the installation height is 9 meters high,our 200W LED corn light lumen output is 32000lm same as his sample. I checked our 200W LED corn light with a 32000lumen output with Dialux and 120W LED retrofit lamp s for his project. I notice 120W LED retrofit lamp lux level equivelant to our 200W LED corn light and his 250W LED corn light, but the price is cheaper than 200W LED corn light.
